Fretful Sea

turbulent, restless

   raging sea pounding

heaving, sighing

   thrashing the shore

receding, rising

   strength beyond compare

fretting, distressed

   deadly force against the land

tossing, heaving

   enraged

thrashing in fury

   dealing death

      destruction, chaos

   everywhere

rage spent

   power expressed

      calm returns

   gentle waves lap the shore
